Hello Garci, the Ampatuans and Gloria Arroyo

Is Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo afraid of the Ampatuans because this warlord clan knows how former AFP chief of Staff Hermogenes Esperon Jr conducted the Mindanao leg of the Hello Garci operation? Sources in Mindanao say the administration election operators gave two (2) suitcases full of money to Datu Andal Ampatuan to launch a dagdag-bawas operation against the opposition.

In 2004, opposition presidentiable Fernando Poe Jr. got zero votes in Maguindanao. The Ampatuans delivered the votes to incumbent president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

And like Pontius Pilate, Malacanang wants to distance itself from the massacre.

Is this the reason behind the stupid and idiotic statement of presidential spokesperson LoreLIE Fajardo asking for sobriety and wanting to distance the palace from the incident? Fajardo probably was drunk when she said those words.

Malacanang wants to project the image of a Mrs. Arroyo deeply concerned with the massacre. Cerge Remonde and presidential political adviser Gabby Claudio revealed that Mrs. Arroyo reportedly made "emotional calls" of sympathy and support to the Mangundadatu family who lost most of their kin and sympathizers.

Fajardo said, the palace is not to be blamed for this massacre, which the UN already described as barbarism in the highest order.

Mrs. Arroyo, her hawks in the Cabinet, and her military generals are to be blamed for this massacre. Mrs. Arroyo tolerated the Ampatuans. Everybody knows how the Ampatuans grew in strength and in political influence due to their "close ties" with Mrs. Arroyo. Everyone knows that Mrs. Arroyo owes the Ampatuans an enormous political debt.

The AFP is responsible too. They tolerated and taken cared of warlords in Mindanao as a counter-force to the MILF and the MNLF. These warlords provide the militias.

Jesus Dureza, Mrs. Arroyo's point man in Mindanao, urge the public to remain calm and urge for sobriety. Dureza said that they are pushing for an "equilibrium of peace."

Mr. Dureza and Mrs. Arroyo---FOR THE PAST NINE YEARS THAT YOU GUYS ARE IN POWER, WHY DID YOU NOT DISMANTLE THESE PRIVATE ARMIES OF THESE WARLORD CLANS?
