I ACCUSE THESE SENATORS OF COMMITTING A GRIEVOUS CRIME AGAINST THE FILIPINO PEOPLE, OF VIOLATING THEIR OATHS THAT THEY WILL FOREVER PRESERVE DEMOCRACY.
THESE "HONORABLES" DO NOT DESERVE THE PEOPLE'S TRUST AND CONFIDENCE. THESE PEOPLE DESERVE OUR DERISION.
That's the problem with these young people--when they already taste power, they think that they are like the icons of their fathers. They think that they are invincible and not susceptible to criticism.
When you're a public official, be ready to get criticized. You should always be aware and responsible of your actions.

Beyond the rhetoric and the exhortations, what do you expect us in the blogosphere to do? Its good to say "you have nothing to lose but your chains", but concretely doing something that can effectively "cut those chains" is something else...
ReplyDeletePlease, i'll be all ears when you can say and tell me what you think should be done, CONCRETELY and EFFECTIVELY (meaning will produce the kind of result you want - i.e. "cutting the chains" if you want to call it that), but in the meantime, i will sit here and see if anyone take up the challenge...
oh, and please no more of that "wear black" or "wear pink" kasi wala namang nangyayari. But if you tell me a lawyer needs money to file a case in supreme court against the law, i'll put in my money. Or if you say you'll run a campaign for the repeal of the said law by public initiative, susuportahan kita!!! pero until then, kung ganito lang tayo, wag na magsayang ng effort.
magaling lang ang pinoy sa salita. kulang palagi sa gawa. Mas kulang pa sa follow-through. lalo na sa documentation at monitoring kung saan na ang mga ginagawa... haigz...
@FLIP, what do you expect to do, fight this legally when in truth and in fact, this government will try to just lull you to sleep, waiting for the legal bodies to declare this law illegal?
