Dark Forces out to get Enrile

There is an ongoing and active black operations against Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. Yes, the veteran of numerous political wars is up against a string of equally strong political forces whose interests are diametrically opposed to those of Enrile's.

The Senate squabble caused by Enrile reportedly giving Christmas cash gifts to his Senate colleagues is just one among many issues being raised against the Senate president. The true cause of the ongoing tiff by several political groups against Ponce-Enrile is highly economic or business-oriented. There seem to be several economic measures at the Senate which were being lobbied about by certain groups but did not pass the scrutiny of the wily Octogenarian. I am not at liberty to disclose these except that those measures will allegedly benefit several businesses allied with the Enriles.

Some colleagues of Enrile reportedly want a slice of the pie but it seems that the fallouts are getting serious by the day. There is no compromise in sight and Enrile is being slowly marginalized by these groups, to tie his hands, and hinder his active participation.

Honestly, these so-called “wranglings” at the Senate, most of them are being instigated by people who want nothing more than to push for their personal agenda. These are people who have vast land holdings and business interests. There are several legislation which could block the progress of several businesses groups.
