Who is benefitting from the reported 20 million facelift of Uniwide sales coastal mall? Is it Jimmy Gaw, close brother in law of former agricultural secretary Art Yap?
As far as I know, the MMDA was able to use the facilities under a long-term lease agreement and obviously, the Gaws had nothing to do with it because even if the MMDA continues to pay rent there, it does not go to Gaws but thru the national treasury or to the court that manages property under receivership.
MMDA should be transparent because we smell a rat here. Whoever is benefitting from this project we like like to now because we have a feeling someone or some group are now laughing themselves to the bank.
