So, that's it? Return 40 million and you're off the hook?

Janet, where are those people
you so protected with your life?
Reports say government was satisfied when Ruby Tuason gave it a 40 million peso check which allegedly represented the commissions she took when she did all those nasty things with alleged pork barrel scam artist Janet Lim-Napoles. Justice secretary Leila de Lima was quick to grant her immunity status from the pork barrel scam case. Palace spokesperson Edwin Lacierda was quick to the draw--Tuason is still NOT off the hook because she still has to answer on the Malampaya fund scam.

Opps...what Lacierda does not know or probably knew but failed to remember what the palace has been doing for months now---dilute public interests on the Malampaya fund scam. Senator Jinggoy Estrada says the Malampaya fund scam is more depressing than the pdaf. Okey, so he knows.

So there. What this thing taught us and our kids is that, if you schemed and stole billions, just give back some and keep the rest and everything okey. What kind of thing this is??

It's like telling the bank robber, okey give back what we declared in public as the amount of monies you stole, and the thousands unreported, you can keep for yourself.

It's like telling the would-be Janet Lim-Napoles out there to come clean, report an amount to us as the  value of what you think you owe the people and keep the others, and expect to get off. No jail. No charges. Just pay us what you stole from the people.

That 40 million peso payment is a piece of evidence already that there was indeed, a siphoning off of public monies, what other proof does government want?

Ano kaya ang nararamdaman ngayon ng mga whistleblowers? That those people whom they accused of are being let off the hook one by one?
