BP as in Binay-Pangilinan or Bagong Pilipinas

Although PLDT Chairman Manny V Pangilinan already said "no" for a run in public office, the thought of him making it and winning a vice presidential post is such a juicy idea.

For one, Pangilinan has all the goods--he is a very wise businessman, a strategist, and knows how to delegate and delegate he will some responsibilities to some of the best minds in the industry. Pangilinan has a keen sense of timing and knows what is best and what is not.

Of course, some people find this tandem an equally "juicy target", as what Congressman Walden Bello of Akbayan thinks. Akbayan is a formidable ally of the Liberal Party and I'm sure such a tandem would definitely lay waste all efforts at making their bet, Mar Roxas, ascend the top spot.

There are even allegations that the reason why Malacanan wants nothing more than get those billions of Malampaya funds through a declaration of emergency powers is for it to shore enough funds to equal what Binay and Pangilinan would spend if such a tandem do indeed run in 2016.

That also explains why traffic is such a huge problem now because the very chief of the DOTC---Emilio Joseph Abaya is so busy campaigning for his bet Mar Roxas. Instead of finding solutions to the humonguous problem, Abaya is busy thinking of ways on how to make Roxas beautiful in the eyes of a tired citizenry.

Same goes to MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino who is now actively cleaning Roxas boulevard while everybody is all angry with that serious traffic along NLEX. Tolentino, sources say, is running for a senatorial post in 2016.
