Executive secretary Paquito Ochoa denies what celebrity manager and showbiz writer Lolit Solis claims--that Ochoa is close to Janet Lim-Napoles, the alleged brains behind the monumental pork barrel scam. Solis told reporters that "mam Jenny", the monicker given to Janet by showbiz people, is a dear friend of Ochoa.
Ochoa denies every knowing the infamous alleged scammer.
Curiously though, it was Ochoa's "communications consultant" or "PR guy" Brian Yamsuan who brokered or helped facilitate that disastrous meeting between Lim-Napoles and the Inquirer group. It was a monumental mistake which the "expert" unfortunately counseled his client to do. Yamsuan just fed Napoles to the "wolves" (not dogs, have many friends in the Inquirer).
Cut the crap that Napoles is not being given special treatment. For Malacanang, there is simply nothing wrong with escorting Napoles to jail, but there is a wrong commited there if the president failed to consider talking with the whistleblowers first.
What seems to be going on right now is the obvious fact that Pnoy's trusted right hand man, the Executive Secretary, is now the subject of intense attacks. These attacks are being supported by several supporters of the President, even Manny Lopez.
Is there a bigger agenda behind all of these? You bet there is.

Executive Secretary backer of former Batangas Governor Tony Leviste? Loren tipped media off former hubby's illicit activities?
A deep source revealed that Executive secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. is the one being referred to as the palace backer of convicted killer former Batangas governor Tony Leviste?
Leviste is reportedly very close to Ochoa. Ochoa, according to several sources, is the one who suggested to Leviste to apply for executive clemency. It is not entirely sure however, if Bureau of Corrections chief Ernesto Diokno and Ochoa are linked.
Leviste was caught by NBI agents resting in his LPL mansions residence in Makati City. He was supposed to be in Muntinlupa, after having been charged and convicted of the murder of his aide a few years back.
IN an interview, Diokno's tongue slipped when he mentioned that Leviste had secured an Executive clemency. Leviste does not have any clemency order.
Meanwhile, another source revealed that it might have been Senator Loren Legarda who tipped the media about Leviste's whereabouts the day he was caught.
Legarda and Leviste are reportedly bickering over some child custody matters. They were formerly married. They separated several years back due to a "third party".
Leviste, according to sources, is now with another woman and has renounced the Islamic faith. He is now a "born-again Christian."
Legarda, meanwhile, reportedly does not want to share time and custody of her child with Leviste.
If this is true about Ochoa, the Executive secretary owes it to the public to explain his relationship with Leviste.
