Filipino Trademark

There's a silent revolution going on, and this revolution is so dissimilar with the ones breaking out in the Middle East. Slowly, companies and individuals have taken the path least taken in the past--and that path is described as one aimed at nationalist re-awakening

Yes, companies and individuals have taken the cudgels of this revolution by re-aligning their marketing campaigns to the generally perceived theme of the year---owning and propagating the Filipino trademark.

What is the Filipino trademark? It is about Filipino traits and values. It's aim is to help increase the Filipino People's morale and make every single one of us, proud of being who we are. Before, we used to have this feeling of inadequacy, of thinking of ourselves as just a small player in the world. Now, Filipino companies and individuals are thinking BIG. Filipinos are now unafraid to explore the great Beyond, and thinks that they have the whole world to explore and conquer.

And conquer, the Filipino can. Filipinos have always excelled in the field they have put their minds into. Consider food, and you have great chefs that spice up the day of millions of people around the world. Consider technology, and you have Pinoy geeks that design cars, computers and what-have-you. Consider entertainment and you have hundreds, even probably a thousand Pinoys making the world a nicer place to live in.

Globalization has allowed Pinoy talent, goods and services to penetrate even the remotest part of the world. As we enter the global scene, we promote the values that makes one a Pinoy. These values which foreigners find good in us, are making us, our goods and services, delight the world. We delight the world by showing them our values.

Despite what our government officials show, the very products of our hands and minds are redefining what foreigners initially think of us. As we redefine ourselves, we redefine the boundaries of choice in the world.
