Jesus is Lord Movement Leader Bro. Eddie Villanueva is right on target when he asked the five leaders of the country--Arroyo, De Castro, Villar, Puno and Nograles--to meet and resolve this snowballing movement against Arroyo. Villanueva said that to avoid bloodshed, these leaders should talk and craft a graceful exit for Arroyo. Why did Villanueva suggested this thing?

Because this early, governors and local executive allies of Arroyo just flocked to the palace Sunday to organize a rally of support for the beleaguered Arroyo. Unwittingly, they are creating a civil war scenario which is not good for the entire country. Arroyo may have realized that this is the trump card of both Marcos and Erap which they failed to use during their administrations. Marcos organized late in the game, with his supporters massing up inside the palace while Erap used the masses and mobilized them but the sheer number of organized civil society simply overwhelmed them.

Arroyo is still powerful among local executives and still hold very close to her chest the military ace. However, sources very close to the AFP says that even this, Arroyo is fast losing. She's now being flanked in all sides and it is pointless for her to do anything now since the speed of which civil society is organizing its ranks would definitely overwhelm all her and her allies' efforts at countering any movements against her administration.

CPP-NPA-NDF leader Joma Sison is correct in his prognosis of the situation. Civil society will be able to successfully oust her if they continue their organizing efforts. Arroyo would probably use the strength of the military to quell it yet this thing I believe, will continue to its most logical conclusion--the ouster of Arroyo.
