Countdown for a New Revolution

I am officially counting down the days for this New Revolution. I am very excited about this. Why? Because I believe that this New Revolution would definitely put us on First World status. Today, European and Asian economies quietly slipped into what I already predicted here as a financial ice age. Analysts say it would take at least 18 months before this ice age thaws. By this time, the Philippines would have slipped to its own version of a recession, according to Palace economic adviser Joey Salceda.

This slip of the country into recession is inevitable. We don't have a very strong and self-reliant economy. We are vulnerable to attacks. If the region is slowly contracting, ours will contract as well regardless of who's in charge of government. What we can do is ensure that we have a government that will not rob our taxes and line the pockets of those close to the Powers-That-Be.

And that my friends, should be the order of the day. The survival of our economy wrests on how high (or how low) consumer confidence is, right? If we have a market that fears what would happen next, we will definitely slide to the financial dark ages. But, if we have a revitalized market and confidence in the capability of our local industries is high, then, there is no reason for us not to be optimistic. However, at this time, there is no reason for us to be hopeful.

BUT, I TELL YOU MY FRIENDS, THERE IS ONE REASON TO BE HOPEFUL. THERE IS A QUIET REVOLUTION GOING ON AND THIS IS BEING LED BY IDEALISTIC AND NATIONALISTIC YOUTH.

YES, THIS REVOLUTION, I SHARE WITH YOU. THESE NEW PATRIOTS ARE UNVEILING SOMETHING VERY, VERY SOON THAT WOULD CHANGE THE PATH OF THIS COUNTRY.

YES, THIS GROUP OF YOUNG, IDEALISTIC AND PATRIOTIC INDIVIDUALS HAVE CREATED A REVOLUTIONARY PRODUCT THAT WOULD PUT THE PHILIPPINES IN THE WORLD MAP.

FOR YEARS, OUR NEIGHBOURS THINK OF US AS A TALENTED YET UNFORTUNATE PEOPLE. WE HAVE THE TALENT, YES, BUT WE HAVE A GOVERNMENT THAT HATE TALENTS.

NOW, WITH THIS REVOLUTION, WE WILL BE ABLE TO WREST POWER FROM THOSE WHO OPPRESS US. WE WILL BE ABLE TO DESIGN A NEW PHILIPPINES THAT WOULD LIGHT EVERY ONE'S HOPES ALIVE!

YES, THIS REVOLUTION IS BEING DONE INSPITE OF GOVERNMENT! IT WOULD BRING BACK THE OLD GLORY OF THIS COUNTRY AND RESTORE THE FAITH OF THE FILIPINO IN HIMSELF.
