Trina fetched Pamela from the airport on a Tuesday. According to Pamela, they went around Manila. They stopped at a church where Trina prayed. They also went to a restaurant to eat. During this time, Trina was just silent.
When they arrived at the Failon's house in Tierra Pura subdivision, Pamela noticed that Trina was acting rather weird. She was saying things which frightened Pamela. She was apologizing to Pamela for some unknown reason.
Before Ted Failon arrived at their house, Trina reportedly wrote a note of apology. She placed it on the dining table. Trina was so ashamed to tell her husband about this serious financial problem.
When Ted arrived, he had a serious talk with Trina. They went inside the master's bedroom. Ted asked Trina what's the problem. Trina refused to tell Ted. Ted assured his wife that whatever the financial problem was, he would back her up. Trina left the house.
