Mar Roxas-Korina Sanchez living separately?

Nasty rumours have circulated lately on the reason why President Noynoy Aquino appointed defeated vice presidential candidate Mar Roxas III as "personal envoy to Taiwan." Wagging tongues say, the decision was prompted by the recent success of Binay in securing a stay in the execution of 3 OFWs in China and surprisingly, the decision of Mar to "have his personal time alone", away from the "love of his life" who happens to be Korina Sanchez.


This Mar Roxas-Korina Sanchez headed on splitville rumours have been circulating lately after neighbours of Ms. Sanchez reportedly saw the ABS-CBN newscaster again living in her exclusive Q.C. condominium. Sanchez allegedly had a very serious spat with her hubby which led to the "separation."


Sanchez, in an interview, denies all these and said that she still loves her hubby, Mar Roxas.


Other rumors tell of a still depressed Mar Roxas, still smarting from his 2010 disastrous loss to Jejomar Binay. Several sources say Mar is still extremely distraught by the experience, since he lost several millions in his bid for the second top post of the land. Korina, again, according to several people, has failed in her task of caring for his still depressed hubby.


This explains why a middle aged socialite entered into the picture. This lady, according to sources, is a long-time Roxas family friend whom many of his family wanted as Roxas' wife. Roxas reportedly flew from the conjugal nest to the willing arms of this socialite whenever he feels extremely depressed. 


Likewise, the couple's problems also began when efforts at "making a family" failed even after Sanchez went to Japan to have her "artificial insemination" session. Sanchez reportedly saw a Japanese doctor to facilitate a pregnancy. These are all rumours, which Sanchez already denied even way back last year but continues to "go the rounds", so to speak, albeit, hush-hush in social circles.


Another "hush-hush" are alleged "interferences" by Mar's mother, Julie Araneta, in the domestic life of the famed couple. Several relatives commented quite openly about Sanchez's predilection on assuming her public role as a broadcaster. Sanchez reportedly insisted on resuming her life as a journalist despite protests from Mar and other family members. Some relatives reportedly advised Sanchez to concentrate on "building a family", instead of going back to broadcasting.


What is true is the fact that Roxas already abandoned his former Senate staff. Staff members of Roxas are now jobless, most of them are. 


I am friends of both and I don't want to hear these things. For those who are spreading these rumours, stop. Just pray for the couple. If they are really going thru tough waters, this is but normal. They have just been married a year or so, and relationships like that really encounter numerous problems. They are still adjusting to a life together. Instead of fanning the flames so to speak, let us help these two love birds stay as husband and wife. They deserve each other.
