Biblical prophesy fulfilled with Japan quake

When Jesus Christ was still living on earth, he told his disciples about the "end times". He urged them to remain steadfast until the day of reckoning. 


There will come a time of extreme trials, punctuated by wars and rumours of wars and of earthquakes happening in diverse places. 


We are in the midst of such biblical prophesy. And there is a sign that these things are already in our midst.


Scientists say that the earth's axis tilted about 10 centimeters shortly after the 8.9 magnitude quake that struck Japan. 


The effects? It sped up the rotation of the earth by a microsecond, meaning, a day is faster now than what a day before the quake. 

"There was a redistribution of an enormous amount of the Earth's crust," theoretical physicist Michio Kaku, with the City College of New York, told Discovery News. "It actually shortened the time of the day, and also shifted the axis of the Earth."

Kaku just said what Jesus Christ told his disciples a long time ago---that during the period of tribulation, those days "should be shortened".

Mat 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

What were the antecedents prior to this global event? Let us read what Mark wrote:

Mar 13:14  But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Mar 13:15  And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: Mar 13:16  And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. Mar 13:17  But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mar 13:18  And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Mar 13:19  For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. Mar 13:20  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 

So, what had happened in Japan is just the beginning of sorrows for us. 


Yet, there is still hope.


Purity yourself. Heed God's call for repentance. Accept the monumental truth about God's one-ness and His dominion over you and all creation. And tread the right and holy path.


There is still time. The earth is re-distributing its mass and it will take probably five to six months before another biggie strikes. With such time, let us abandon our sinful ways and heed the call of God for us to tread the Holy Path. 


And what do we expect after these things happen? Let the Bible teach us:

Mar 13:24  But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mar 13:25  And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mar 13:26  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mar 13:27  And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. 

What do we concretely expect to happen?

First, a possible nuclear meltdown. Second, volcanoes shall explode, almost simultaneously as a reaction to the biggie quake and the redistribution of the earth's mass. These fumes and plumes of smoke will darkened our skies for many days.

Third, there will be changes in the political leadership in the Middle East and around the world " and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken."

After the fall of these political principalities will the "Son of Man" come in the clouds with great power and glory (Mark 13:26). Jesus Christ will send God's angels to gather the elect from the four winds of the earth. 

Will these happen in 2012 or sooner? If these indeed, will occur, it will happen when all the world celebrates a feast, that is, either in September or in December. That is what the Bible says. 

We don't exactly know for certain, and only God knows of the exact time these things will happen.
