Shortly after recanting her earlier story about her being abducted by the killers of her brother, Mara Bautista immediately prepared her defense---going on a flight to Hongkong. Senator Bong Revilla Jr immediately branded the move a sign of guilt. Several sources within the Revilla family says Mara might go to Turkey to be with her "husband".
Genelyn Magsaysay, mother of Mara and that of Ramgen, has gravely criticized Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr for allowing one of her sons, RJ or Ramon Joseph, arrested by police. RJ is being tagged as the killer or as one of the masterminds behind the killing.
RJ is now under police custody and investigators are hopeful that they would be able to find the gun and the knife used in killing the actor, Ramgen.
Ramgen was shot and stabbed to death by a male assailant reportedly allowed inside the house by Mara, according to the testimony of Janelle Manahan, Ramgen's girlfriend, who, despite being shot twice, survived the ordeal.
Manahan's eye-witness account is part of the case prepared by the Paranaque police against Ramgen's own siblings, Mara and RJ, along with several others who confessed that they were asked to kill Ramgen days prior to the gruesome killing last October 28.
Police surmised that the killing could have been prompted by the one million peso allowance being given to Ramgen by his father, ex Senator Ramon Revilla every month. The Revillas say Ramgen was the Senator's favorite child.
