Why is the palace afraid of Ducut?

The plain and simple and most evident truth--during the hearing before both the Senate and Congress committees on power, Energy Regulatory Board chairman Zenaida Ducut appeared dazed and confused. Ducut, a former politician and lawyer, was not able to provide substantial answers to several highly important questions about her job as a regulator. This is sad. Imagine, you have been in that job for many years, and the only word you can muster when asked is "duh"?

What is so special about Ducut that even members of the Aquino administration, these so-called priests of the Tuwid na Daan doctrine, seemed afraid to touch her? Afraid that if they do, Ducut will go tothe media and spill the beans on several personalities involved ?

You might ask me what things Ducut knows that we don't know and probably will not ever know? Well, you see, Ducut is a very special person, someone who is very friendly to fellow politicians. She gets things done. Pork barrel scam whistleblower Luy tagged Ducut as another one involved in the scandal.

There are lots of things going against Ducut including involvement in the pork barrels scam, then, why is the palace still supportive of her?

Ducut is a survivor. She is a former Arroyo confidante who remains in power. Part of the compromise?

Ducut should go. This is the problem when you appoint a political operator in a technical job.
