Gaining the Pulse

The Makati Business Club is reported to have been consulting with different groups. They want to be sure if they would call for the ouster of Arroyo. It seems that different groups are now uniting for one goal--call for change.

Last night, the hand of palace operators are evident in the media. In ANC, they featured mostly the stand of government. The palace even twisted the call of the CBCP, from "collective action" to "collective prayer". Malacanang is betting everything to calm down the situation.

I've watched the Senate hearings with a couple of masa and everybody is angry with what has happened with ZTE. The lost of trust in institutions of governance is evident among the faces of the masa. I've also consulted with taxi drivers. I always consider them as invaluable in getting the pulse of the masa. Cab drivers are the most politicized among the masa, since they listen to the radio everyday and always banter with their passengers, asking them about what they think about this ZTE probe.

And it is VERY, VERY EVIDENT---THERE IS NOW A REVOLUTIONARY SITUATION! THERE IS A SWELLING UNDERGROUND OF DISSENT JUST WAITING FOR ANOTHER SPARK FROM THE ENLIGHTENED CLASS!!

What would be the next steps?

The next steps should be the following:

a. Different groups should organize their ranks and continue silent organizing among the powerful neutrals
b. Propaganda efforts should be effected to counter the increasing influence of the palace in traditional media. New Media should be utilized.
c. A series of incidents should be effected in the metropolis to further show the people's disgusts, for without this, there is a possibility of armed confrontation among the people involved.

The people is just waiting for the true patriots to lead the way. It is not true that the people is not affected by all of these. No. They are not tired of EDSA. They need true leaders now to guide them and lead them towards the struggle for Truth and Justice.

Now is the time.
