Dante Tan---Mastermind behind Dacer's Murder?

Who ordered the killing of Bubby Dacer, the celebrated publicist who was shot, murdered and buried in a shallow grave in Cavite? Was it Senator Ping Lacson or a former Erap big man who now lives in Canada?

Justice secretary Raul Gonzales is thrilled to have under his eventual custody, former Col. Cesar Mancao, a close associate of former PNP chief and now Senator Ping Lacson, and Glenn Dumlao.

This early, Gonzales is like a kid, showing his prized possessions and bragging all around town that he now has the goods that would "shed light on the murder of Bubby Dacer".

The question is---does Gonzales really have the goods?

Mancao and Dumlao already admitted the murder. As early as 2002, these two already confessed the crime. The question is---who ordered the killing?

Malacanang wants to railroad justice by tagging Ping Lacson as the mastermind. They want him out of the presidential race.

But, is Ping really the mastermind?

What I remember during those times is this:

1. Where is Dante Tan? Remember Dante Tan was the Erap associate linked to the Belle scandal. Dante had an axe to grind against Bubby Dacer since, according to some of our friends, it concerns a blotched or failed deal. And what was that deal? It concerns a deal linked closely with the Erap government. Some say, Bubby Dacer refused to help Dante Tan when he was embroiled in the Belle Corporation scandal. Another says, Dante became angry with Bubby because a big government deal escaped from his hands because of Bubby Dacer.

Based on my sources, Dante Tan now lives in Canada.

What is clear was a few nights before Bubby Dacer disappeared, he was seen with some Erap associates. He was talking to them about how he can't stand it no more.

Dante Tan, obviously, denied his involvement in this murder. He was not investigated though. After the EDSA Dos revolution, Tan escaped and went abroad.

Maybe, it's best for Gonzales to probe Dante Tan. Some surmised that he escaped to avoid possible plunder charges. Yet, most believe he did so out of fear that he'll be exposed as the mastermind behind the Dacer-Corbito murders.
