Now, it can be told. As what this writer wrote in an entry when Arroyo visited Mrs. Aquino's wake, the Washington Post now says Mrs. Arroyo and an entourage of about 65 people had another dinner---this time earlier than the Le Cirque restaurant. The alleged dinner happened a few hours after Mrs. Arroyo met US President Barack Obama.
The dinner was attended by about 65 people, including tasters and security detail. Mrs. Arroyo specifically chose Bobby Van's Steakhouse on 15th Street NW. Arroyo's entourage got a private room and ordered steaks, lobsters and fine wine. The tab was allegedly footed by a lady who got tons of money from her purse.
Bobby Van's steakhouse is the premium steak house in Washington. Like Le Cirque restaurant in New York, Bobby Van's is the most expensive restaurant in the area, which serves grilled seafood and premium cut steaks.
My friends, there's ONE MORE EXPLOSIVE DINNER PARTY that Gloria's entourage took, not just in New York and Washington D.C. Inside their Wardoff-Astoria hotel suites, Gloria and her Cabinet members danced and partied shortly after hearing the news of Cory Aquino's demise.
This dinner over at Bobby Van's was a veritable party. Arroyo's entourage wined and dined and drank themselves hoarse with Chateau vintage wines and champagne.
