Mayon Volcano eruption--a sign that political change will also happen in 2010?

Mayon Volcano, says Philvocs, is expected to erupt anytime soon. That's why the Provincial government of Albay ordered the forced evacuation of 100,000 residents. Alert level 4 had been raised.

The provincial government is doing a pretty good job in disaster management. No one is competent to actually predict or say how much pyroclastic materials Mayon Volcano would spew in the next few days. Philvocs already recorded 6,000 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions and 1,600 earthquakes. Red hot lava continues to flow from the slope and hot steam is spewing from the southern side of the volcano.

Philvocs say that they expect an explosion in the magnitude of 2000 or 2001---the same natural event that preceded the ouster of former president Joseph Estrada. Remember that before EDSA dos, man-made and natural calamities occurred.

A limited number of people got killed in the 2000-2001 Mayon volcano eruptions.

Question---is this another portent of things to come? Will a change in the political situation here also happen in 2010? Abangan!
