I love the new design of PinoyObserver. Check it out at http://pinoyobserver.com. And for those who are asking why FilipinoNewsNetwork is still down, well, its still under technical maintenance. On December 16, it will be re-launched to the public. Abangan!
It's now five days since the declaration of Proclamation 1959 and what do we get from those who are supposed to protect and safeguard our rights against abuses in power? None. We have a Congress who will just use the joint session for grandstanding purposes. We have a Supreme Court who practically washed their hands off any complicity in the murder of Philippine democracy. And we have a political opposition who continues their sorties in the provinces, oblivious of the effects of this proclamation to the lives of their fellow Filipinos in Maguindanao.
So, even if Mrs. Arroyo declares martial law and place the entire country under martial law and for as long as there is a promise of pursuing elections in May 10, 2010, these so-called "political opposition" will remain stolic and will not act to defeat it.
If martial law is declared, then, the minimum number of days that such a measure would take would probably be five days. There are so many things that can happen within five days. And surely, our so-called "honorables", are not so interested.

Thank you very much for reading my blog. You inspired me. But if you intend to put your name "anonymous", better not comment at all. Thanks!
