President Noynoy Aquino has just retained a very corrupt Customs official. This official, considered "untouchable" even during the time of Gloria Arroyo, is very powerful. He owns a big mansion in the exclusive part of Taguig City, and drives luxury cars. He has several others in his big garage.
This customs official has a reputation of being the get-to man in the agency. Big time businessmen, led by this very close relative of President Aquino, rely on this official for their official cargoes. Fact is, this customs official has been a very effective big cash provider for several other officials.
This man is also very close to Alvarez, who has his exclusive boy's club inside the agency.
Who is this very corrupt man? One clue---he is being protected by one of two very powerful groups inside the Cabinet. Why? Because he protects the business interests of members of this very powerful and influential kamaganak clan...err...group.
This man plays golf, does not report to his office and is the head of a very "intelligent" division. He is also a well-known ladies man, often with the company of several actresses and club models. He is very much married, and has two kids studying in several exclusive schools in the metro. One of his kids has a Porsche car.
He owns several pieces of prime real estate properties in the Metro and several hectares of land in Tanay, Pangasinan, Cebu, Palawan, Bicol (Sorsogon) and Davao.
Close sources say this man started as a close aide of a Customs official. He finished a Bachelors of Science, major in Electrical Engineering before he became the umbrella man of this Customs official who died several years ago.
so, now, how straight is that straight road often mouthed by Noynoy? as what Mon Tulfo wrote, that straight road is littered with trash.
