Lieutenant Colonel George Rabusa, the one who accused former General Angelo Reyes of misusing the AFP fund, cried when he heard Reyes has just committed suicide.
At 8:32 in the morning, Reyes was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors at the Quirino Memorial Hospital. Reyes suffered a gunshot wound in the chest. He was with his two sons and two aides when he got his 45 caliber pistol and shot himself before the tomb of his mother at the Loyola Memorial Park. He was already without vital signs when he arrived at the hospital.
Rabusa said that he was shocked to hear the death of Reyes. Rabusa could not believe the incident.
Rabusa is a godfather of two of Reyes' kids. Rabusa was the budget officer of Reyes when he was still the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Sources say Reyes conferred with some of his close associates the night before he decided to visit the tomb of his mother. A debate reportedly happened.
Meanwhile, Rabusa is quite disturbed by the news of Reyes' death. He claims to be very close to Reyes. He now fears that relatives of the former defense secretary will blame him for his death.
Col . Rabusa , cry if you may but finish what you have started .
ReplyDeleteyes, you are right odet. he must finish what he started.
ReplyDeleteColonel Rabusa, your crusade against corruption is also our crusade. We pray that what you did will inspire many people to come out and tell the truth about corruption in the government. We are sorry for former sec. Reyes but you are not to be blamed of his death. Continue our fight against corruption for this is a moral fight of every good christian. More power to you! More power to all Filipinos!
ReplyDelete@ encabante51,
ReplyDeleteI hope he would since this has become a very serious one, not just for those concerned, but for the entire country. we must lend our support behind Col. Rabusa and Heidi Mendoza.
ingumsHopefully the truth will prevail...If not for those who believe...There is always a higher justice, it may not exist in life on earth but I do believe there is.
ReplyDeletejust like senator trillanes said... that is what life was meant to be... , u wer trained to be strong in any situation. Bravo for Senator Trillanes, ur really the man to watch out for.
ReplyDeleteIt is through a courageous act that one should be saluted...taking ones life is definitely not,but the fight against anomalies and let the truth prevail no matter what the cause may be is truly an act of courage...do not fail us!Continue to fight for a true cause and let the filipinos continue to have hope...MABUHAY!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, the fight for truth lives on. and those who have stained their souls with the excesses of the former dispensation and even of the present one, know this---JUSTICE COMES LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a very disturbing case. It makes me question whether this is what the country needs at the moment or are we being tricked into sidelining the real issues facing the country, i.e. high unemployment.
ReplyDeleteWe feel sorry for the death of Sec Reyes but Col. Rabusa, youre not to be blamed for that. Please continue what you've started! More power to you!
ReplyDeleteRabusa is to be blamed.Kasalanan nya why Angelo Reyes died.Ma konsencya ka naman!Nakakatulog kpa ba?
ReplyDeleteWhy blame the person who tell the truth? If there are persons to be blamed they are those who made the decision to get money from the coffers of government. Siphoning government money including foreign aid to personal accounts. Rabusa just did what a person with conscience should do. If those mentioned by Rabusa have their sense of responsibility and are clean as they say they are, they should have courage to face and tell the truth like what Rabusa did...
ReplyDelete"Bakit aaray kung walang pigsa " .
ReplyDeleteCol. Rabusa , you're just doing what is right for your soul and the Filipino people. Godspeed
Yes col. Rabusa continue your fight for the truth....u should not be blamed of what happened.....your just fighting for the filipino people
ReplyDeleteGeorge Rabusa, you must think you are now a celebrity. if only people can see through you. The bottom line is you are the guilty one. What an excellent strategy. Smelling like a rose in the end. Judgement will be in heaven. I hope you live to suffer the pains you have brought to the Filipino people.God know who you truly are.
