Independent oil player Unioil announced that starting today, they will cut their diesel prices by forty centavos per liter and about 70 centavos per liter for unleaded and premium gasoline.
This is the second time in a week that Unioil did those price cuts. The first one was on Mothers' Day, a week ago when they gave as much as 1.65 centavos per liter price cut on diesel and 1.50 centavos on unleaded and premium gasoline.
These price cuts are VAT inclusive.
It is uncertain though if other oil companies will follow suit. Caltex, Shell and Petron have not announced theirs.
