Philippines survived 7.6 magnitude earthquake: God Spared RP

GOD spared the Philippines. This is how Philvocs official Solidum described what happened yesterday, when a 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck the island off Samar. Fortunately, the epicenter of the quake was so deep (112 kilometers down) that the force of the dislocation was not felt as strongly as expected. Tsunami warnings were issued shortly after the quake happened but was lifted an hour later after it was observed that the quake generated small ripples of waves. 

Philvocs said a similar earthquake struck the sea between mainland Mindanao and Sulu in 1976, killing more than 5,000 people. Fortunately, this one did not.

Solidum said, among many factors, it was God who protected us from a great disaster. Had it happened near the Philippine trench, the results would have been different.

Let us thank the Most Powerful Force in the Universe, who holds the key to Life and Death.

You Who Live in the heavens of the heavens, of eternity, You Gave Life to this Universe and Will, in the end, decide who lives with you in Your Heavens, in purity, forever. 

We thank you for the breath you gave that allowed us to be alive. We praise you for your generosity to your creations, we thank you for giving us all the things we need in this world.

We came from dust, and dust we shall return, as you have decreed since the beginning of time.  Yet You, O Lord, the Maker and Originator of Light, made us in your likeness, and because of sin, we lost that opportunity to be with you in the heavens of the heavens...

God, forgive us our sins, our trespasses. Forgive the transgressions we commit against our fellow men. Forgive us when we utter bad words against our neighbours and our loved ones. Forgive us if we think lowly of other men. Forgive us if we ever lay a hand against our fellow human being. And forgive us, if we ever doubt your Power of Salvation.

 O Father, the God of all gods, protect us from all evil. Clothe us with the Armor of Light so that we will be saved from all darkness of evil. Teach us to tread the righteous path. Teach us to always go the path towards the Light. We acknowledge that the Light will transform us into Beings of Purity, of Righteousness, those who have the right to be with You in the end of times. 

O Father, give us all the opportunities to do Your Will every, single day. Give us the Power and the Strength to do good deeds for others. Give us the strength to repel all evil thoughts and acts that harm others. Imbed in our souls, Your Mark of Salvation, the mark of Light, o Holy and Most Noble God.

Let us be like Christ, who trusted in You with all his heart, his mind, his body, his soul, his Spirit. Through Christ, we know that it is not impossible for a human to become righteous and worthy of Your Love.

We pray for our leaders. Let them see the Light of Your Righteousness. Let them serve with utmost sincerity and honesty. Let them embrace Your Love.

We pray for the poor, the widows and the orphans among us. Give them food, shelter and warmth during cold nights. We pray for our businessmen. Let them trade using Your Balance, O God.
