Why these BOPOLS signed the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012

The BOPOLS Gallery
It's already 12:46am of October 3, 2012---a day which will go down in history as the day of extreme stupidity and infamy. This is the day when the Cybercrime Prevention Law will take effect, as the Supreme Court of the Philippines decided not to act on the numerous petitions asking that the implementation of this law be put under abeyance for its unconstitutionality.

It is still dark as I write this. Let us tell the truth why these people, whom I now call BOPOLS or Bobong Politicos passed this law in the first place. What motivated these BOPOLS to pass this law criminalizing online expressions?

Let us expose their motivations one by one.

Senator Greg Honasan is supposed to be a freedom fighter. Yet, he signed RA 10175. Why? Simple. Honasan does not want us to really know who he really is--a coward, says his colleague Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. Trillanes wants no one to know that he is as corrupt as any Tom, Dick and Harry in Congress. He does not want people to know that he spends so much while doing nothing at the Senate.

How about Chiz Escudero? Well, he's a womanizer. That's why he and his wife separated because he always spend his nights cavorting with some girls in some bars in some hotel.
Escudero does not want people to know that his wife went to her former boyfriend because she was soooo lonely being alone while her husband Senator spends those nights drinking, partying and womanizing.

Imagine, his annulment is just fresh and here he comes boldly before us, reportedly having a relationship with Heart Evangelista. Excuse me, Mr. Escudero but Heart was already used by another Senatoriable candidate in 2010.

I expected Juan Ponce Enrile to sign this law. Why? Enrile is the engineer of martial rule. He's an illegitimate child of a wealthy man and like his colleagues in the political sphere, he hides so many secrets which, in a few years' time, will be exposed. Of course Enrile wants nothing more than people keeping their silence while he and his relatives will try to hide these from the prying eyes of the public.

How many illicit deals did Enrile entered during his political career? Enrile's act surely does not give us happy moments. Enrile does not want our happiness. He, like the others, is as selfish and as incalcitrant as a donkey.

How about Senator Bong Bong Revilla? Of course, Bongbong does not want people swapping stories of his infidelities, of his son's infidelities and of his father's infidelities online. Enuf said.

ON the subject of infidelities, quo vadis, Senators Ed Angara and Loren Legarda? Do you know that, several years ago, a budding journalist married a budding newscaster? The budding newscaster went to the States while the journalist stayed and became one of the most respected in the country. What happened afterwards? That journalist married a lawyer who became a governor and now spends his remaining life in jail for killing his closest friend. Infidelities.

Do you know that Senator Ed Angara wants to become transport czar? Yes, he influences a bus company who recently tried, and failed to get franchises of Pantranco. And of course, who will not forget those behest loans? Who orchestrated that scheme which hid those Marcos wealth? Who engineered several legal strategies to scam people, particularly farmers of those precious coconut levies?

Lito Lapid's involvement in several graft cases involving megadams in Pampanga and the discovery of his wife salting dollars are all part of history. There are so many unwritten discoveries and someday, someone will write about them online and it will forever be there in perpetuity.

On Ping Lacson, what can I say? Lacson is one of the remaining implementors of martial rule. During his stint as a cop, he reportedly killed the husband of his present wife. He was also accused of gunning down several innocent men in a massacre. He also was accused of chopping up people in a piggery somewhere in BUlacan. Afraid of being exposed further?

Everyone knows who this person is who once swam in a sea of garbage? Villar's mind probably is still filled with trash that he forgot to exercise caution when he signed this law. Yes, he was a victim of cyber cbullying during trhe 2010 and that must have cost him the presidency. Villar probably hasn't recovered from the hurt that he wants nothing more than revenge.

Another senator, Ralph Recto, signed this law? Recto authored the VAT law. In due time, I will expose other involvement of Recto. And of course, I am not surprised why Jinggoy Estrada signed this law. His father, Joseph, lost another crack at thievery, err, the presidency in 2010---all because of people talking badly about his father during the elections. Don't ask me how and when did his family got those millions staying in power.

Bongbong Marcos signed the Cybercrime Law? UNexpected? Surprising? No. As they say, like father, like son. A dictator's son will always be a dictator's son-a-fagun.

Excuse me, but Koko Pimentel also signed this law? Pimentel is probably afraid that people might discover that their clan is trying to be a permanent fixture in the political life of the Filipino people. Imagine, Pimentel playing the part of his father, while his sister also wants to do her share of wrecking havoc, the politics of this country. The Pimentels as a political dynasty? Well, that says much about former Macoy accusers, eating their words against dictatorships after enjoying the perks of power all these years.

What can I say, but Tito Sotto among those who signed the law? Haha. That's expected. Sotto claims to have been cyber bullied but if pointing his flaws and telling people how stupid he is, and how careless he is as a legislator, is cyber cullying, then, I don't know what honesty really means. Sotto should be cursed by his ancestor who once authored the Press Freedom Law. I can't say any further coz Sotto probably did not know what he signed. The blind leading the blind.

Enuf said. Let us just maintain a high level of patience and tolerance as these BOPOLS wreck our democracy.
