The very reason why this State wants our mouths to be gagged is very simple---they don't want to hear us commenting how many their warts are.
Online blogging is one of the things why people are not filling up the streets of EDSA and demanding the ouster of an inefficient president.
Social networks and twittering are just platforms for people to fully express themselves. yes, of course, we recognize that for every exercise of rights, there is an equal recognition of responsibility. That responsibility is anchored on expressing our views without unduly harming the feeling of others. When people feel hurt, they probably saw their own selves expressed in a bad light by the writer. Well, if you are a public figure, that is part of the game.
This, I think, is the last straw. We must redeem our freedom.
