Gloria Arroyo---Our Hitlerite in the New Generation

I admire Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Unlike other political leaders, Mrs. Arroyo is the only one with the gall so to speak to exhaust all possible means just to achieve what she wants.

She wants to be President forever. Why? Maybe she wants to leave a lasting legacy to all Filipinos. Or maybe she feels that more things ought to be done for the sake of the majority.

Some say Mrs. Arroyo is a Socialite. Yep, she is. Imagine, having an Anti-Commie, Self-proclaimed Socialist for a Defense secretary, a former General for an Executive secretary, an inarticulate yet fiercely loyal Press secretary and a soon-to-be Mistah as Chief of Staff.

Mrs. Arroyo's group will all go down in history with the most number of State of Rebellion, State of Emergency and Martial law declarations in a span of nine years. Wow. And all of these declarations, these Proclamations were based on flimsy reasons, most of them, made out of fear of being ousted from power. Such paranoid and suicidal orders only a Gloria can make. Even Ferdy was not able to do that.
