Inday Sara is my girl, part 2

Why punish someone who respects the law? I mean, Sara Duterte, the mayor of Davao, did what she did because she knows both the "soft" side and the "mean or hard" side of the law?

Look, punching a Sheriff who refused to recognize these two faces of the law for me, is not illegal. Are we saying that our laws should be applied like ala-Victorian, with fake wigs and all?

The Dutertes know Davao society so well that they do what they do. If they apply the law using kid's gloves, nothing will happen. Davao City used to be very chaotic. Now, it is a paragon of peace and order in the South.

Inday Sara's actions, while maybe "barbaric" to some, was justified. The sheriff refused to heed or listen to hear. She must do the necessary thing to protect her city. Under the law, it is allowed.

Fact is, the Sheriff should be very thankful.

He did not end up among the so-called victims of the Punisher, in the dumps. He was just publicly humiliated.

Go Inday, teach us how to be tough.
