Dispensing with formalities, Senator Mar Roxas assumed the post of DOTC secretary immediately. He vowed to cleanse the department of anomalous deals, and implement plans and programs for the benefit of the Filipino people.
Fact is, Mar just likes to be called S-MAR, meaning "Secretary Mar". Many thinks he's Noynoy's SMAR(t)est Cabinet member. He's the top technocrat around.
At last, one honest public servant in the Aquino administration. With Mar now part of this administration, expect a graft-free DOTC and government from now on.
