Arroyo Dinners: Delicassen over delicadeza: And it's not just $20,000

Arroyo's rabid attack dogs led by Presidential chuwawah Cerge Remonde was arrogant and angry when he guested this morning at the ABS-CBN morning show Umagang Kay Ganda. Remonde accused leftists of "conspiring" to create furor over a "simple dinner" which they had last August 2 at Le Cirque restaurant.

Cerge, what is simple about a US$20,000 dinner at a ritzy place like that? I heard that, aside from Le Cirque, the presidential entourage had NUMEROUS dinners and PARTIES, which started in WASHINGTON, NEW YORK and even in SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA.

So, Cerge, stop fooling us, please. Wala kang lusot dito Mr. Remonde. You admitted that you were billeted at the Wardorff Astoria, a first class hotel in New York. If you're not austentatious and if you did'nt want to flaunt your wealth and power, di ba dapat dun na lang kayo kumain? But, no. Hindi ba masarap ang pagkain sa Wardorff? Hindi ba French?

Instead, you crossed the street to purposively enjoy fine French dining. And it's not WHO actually footed the bill---ang isyu ay DELICADEZA, hindi DELICASSEN, ha, Cerge? Kuha mo na. O, naging utak Franses ka na?

Tama na ang kapekehan. Nagawa ninyong kumain at the time na nagluluksa ang mga kapwa ninyo Pilipino sa pagkamatay ni Tita Cory? At may mukha pa kayong humarap sa wake ni Tita Cory pagkatapos ninyong magpaka baboy sa Le Cirque?

Arroyo & Her Dinner Buddies Committed a Crime

Hindi lamang kahiya-hiya kundi lumabag pa sa batas si Gloria Arroyo sampu ng kanyang mga alipores nang magpakita sila ng thoughtless extravagance in expenses for pleasure or display during a period of acute public want or emergency" na nakasaad sa Article 25 ng Civil Code gayundin sa Republic Act 3019 nang nagpista sila sa Le Cirque restaurant sa New York na naitaon pa sa pagluluksa natin sa pagkamatay ni Tita Cory.

Ah ha, so the story goes that it was Representative Martin Romualdez who allegedly put the $ 20,000 bill for that ostentatious dinner at the Le Cirque restaurant in New York. Presidential tell-tale Cerge Remonde said that it was a "casual dinner, no partying" while another Cong. Danilo Suarez said the place was "not fashionable."

Tangekngek talaga ang mga taong ito. And I'm really not entirely surprised that they really don't know the issue. Or, nagtatanga tangahan na lang o talagang ogag na.

Cerge, iho de cono ka, wala kaming paki-alam kung casual dinner o nagkaroon kayo ng party dun. Ang isyu eh, bakit kayo nag lustay ng mahigit isang milyong piso para sa pagkain ninyo dun. Ang daming puwedeng kainan, pagkain ninyo pa lang sa Waldorff Astoria, yang hotel ninyo ng boss mo, maganda na riyan. Bakit pa kayo tumawid at nagpunta sa Le Cirque?

At para pala sa inyo, ang "casual" eh, aabutin na ng isang milyon. Pano pa kung may party? Ibig mo palang sabihin iho de cono ka, na mas higit pa sa milyon ang ginagastos ninyo pag nagpapartihan kayo? (get the double entendre--party at partihan? :-)

At kung talagang sinagot ni Martin Romualdez yang dinner na yan, ano naman kaya ang kapalit
niyon? Ganun na ba kayaman si Romualdez na sa kabila ng paghihirap at kagutumang nararanasan ng kanyang mga kababayan sa Leyte, ay gayon na lamang siya magtapon ng pera?

Sinasalamin lamang nito ang kawalang puso ng ating mga opisyales de gobyerno sa ating mga kapakanan.

Mrs. Arroyo's Boob Job and National Security

Deputy palace spokesperson Lorelei Fajardo castigated the Philippine media for writing about Mrs. Arroyo's alleged boob job. Fajardo said that those articles regarding Mrs. Arroyo's breast reduction surgery at the Asian Hospital were "below the belt" and "personal attacks".

Question--what's so wrong with publishing the true reason why Mrs. Arroyo checked herself in the first place? What's so wrong with mammoplasty? What's so wrong with Mrs. Arroyo undergoing such an operation? None.

Fajardo said that if people, especially journalists do not like the president as a person, then, at least, people should respect the office she holds. Why, Mrs. Fajardo, who are the people who actually do not respect the Office of the President?

Who issued that patent lie that Mrs. Arroyo underwent quarantine procedures instead of a biopsy? Was it not the palace? How then will people respect the very Office that Mrs. Arroyo holds when they're peddling lies?

Is a boob job a matter of national security? Is the operation on Mrs. Arroyo's groin to detect the cause of the lump a matter of extreme national security?

In fact, this morning, Press secretary Cerge Remonde admitted yet again that Mrs. Arroyo underwent a "biopsy" to replace a "leaking silicone breast implant." and another biopsy in her groin. So, there, Mrs. Fajardo. So what if Mrs. Arroyo got those operations?

Respect is earned. How can people respect the president if people like you Mrs. Fajardo are peddling lies and hiding the truth?

Transparency is the real issue here. Ano ba naman? Ilang buwan na lang kayo dyan sa palasyo, nagsisinungaling pa rin kayo.

Global Warming and First Family Business

You know why we have typhoons in May? That's because of global warming, says PAG-ASA. And do you know why global warming is turning from bad to worse? That's because we don't have trees anymore. Our virgin forests are fast disappearing. And why is that? We have a reforestation program, yes? What's the problem?

Well, the problem is corruption. Yes, corruption. And it involves a presidential son, no less.

IMAGINE this, even seedlings are now being toyed by this presidential son. Mrs. Arroyo and her minions are raking billions of monies from illegal and legal activities. They are now cornering every single deal there is. Of course, the First Golfer dips his fat fingers into all operator-related activities there are right now but, for a presidential son to stir the broth further? That's proof enough that corruption is now a family affair, instead of a Mom and Pop operation.

A seedling that cost 2.50 pesos now fetches 55 pesos each. Wow. Talk about 1,000 percent rate hike, that sure tops the US$ 320 million his father allegedly would get from a telecomms deal gone sour.

Infrastructure projects, which this family of greedy misfits already cornered, are estimated to be worth US$ 42.7 billion. Wow, that is sure to top even the Marcoses for greediness. And the palace of greed already admitted that most of these projects are now being controlled by two presidential sons and their lackeys.

How many villas in Portugal do they expect to buy with US$ 42.7 billion? Do they also expect to buy retirement homes for their great-great-great-great-great-great grand children and their paramours?

The palace spokesman Cerge Remonde even justified this business by the Family by saying that it's okey if the presidential sons and their lackeys corner every infra project for as long as there's no corruption thru commission. Why, Mr. Remonde, are you deaf and blind? Anyway, I'm not entirely surprised since he's just a peti functionary and he needs to toe the line otherwise, he'll suffer a JLO.

So, if you're feeling hot or you suddenly ask yourself why the hell we have typhoons in May, go ask Mikey and Dado Arroyo. Mikey wants every seedling at 55 pesos while Dado wants every single corner of Camarines Sur paved.

For those who are praying at the WPD right now to protect Jun Lozada---don't. Prayers are for those who listen, not for those who already chose their eternal Fate to side with Beelshebub. What we have as government officials are demons in barongs. And demons deserve exorcisms not masses.
