Willie Revillame to be charged for violation of RA 7610: Exploiting Jan-Jan

For Willie Revillame, host of the primetime evening show, Willing Willie, exploiting the weaknesses of people is ENTERTAINMENT.

For Revillame, host of the primetime evening show, Willing Willie, being financed by PLDT's Manny Pangilinan and Viva Entertainment, exploiting old people, children and women is ENTERTAINMENT.

I am not surprised that another 6 year old child was exploited by the same man whom his former partner accused of wife beating. see link

I am not at all surprised that this same man caused the deaths of some people in that classic stampede at the ULTRA.

I am not at all surprised to see every single night, poor people flocking to his show for goodies in exchange for humiliating them in public. Our poor folks, sorry to say, are accustomed to being humiliated by the rich. They don't have any option. Rather than be hungry, they will do everything possible, just to win 1,000 or 10,000.

What I am surprised about is that this man is being supported by big businessmen, like Manny Pangilinan and Manny Villar. These people are supposed to be the shakers and movers of this Nation. These men are supposed to be of high integrity.

Do these businessmen realize that their names are also being dragged as protectors of Mr. Revillame, every single time this man gets caught with a misdemeanor or a crime?

Both Villar and Pangilinan are known for their "rags-to-riches" stories. Why are they allowing Willie to exploit the very class which they claimed to have belonged in the past?

Villar is a member of the committee in the Senate on women and children. Will he file a case against Revillame, for child exploitation? This is clearly a case not of entertainment, but of a violation of the law,  Article V, Section 9 of Republic Act No. 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act:

“Obscene Publications and Indecent Shows. – Any person who shall hire, employ, use, persuade, induce or coerce a child to perform in obscene exhibitions and indecent shows, whether live or in video, or model in obscene publications or pornographic materials or to sell or distribute the said materials shall suffer the penalty of prison mayor in its medium period.  If the child used as a performer, subject or seller/distributor is below twelve (12) years of age, the penalty shall be imposed in its maximum period. Any ascendant, guardian, or person entrusted in any capacity with the care of a child who shall cause and/or allow such child to be employed or to participate in an obscene play, scene, act, movie or show or in any other acts covered by this section shall suffer the penalty of prison mayor in its medium period.”

Imagine, how crass and how inhumane Willie Revillame was, when he coerced this boy, all of six years old, to dance before a crowd lusty for cheap tricks and cheap thrills.

Probably, Willie experienced the same humiliation when he was a kid. Probably a group of school thugs forced Willie to dance before them, while they throw rotten tomatoes at him. That explains why Willie's face is all cratered.

I will not be surprised if Willie will, again, escape the fangs of the law. The law here in this country recognizes only one thing, and that is money. Fact is, the laws here do not have fangs.

This person who was once charged with wife molestation, who was repeatedly sanctioned by MTRCB for his dirty jokes and toilet-humour, who nearly escaped imprisonment for causing the injury and deaths of several people and now, like a sad joker, exploiting a weak child.

Don't tell me that Jan-Jan is a professional artist willing to do what Willie did to him.

Will Senator Pia Cayetano file a resolution to investigate this matter, or will she just let this incident go unnoticed?

I found this complaint to be filed against Willie and I support this 100%

SUBJECT:             CHILD ABUSE ON WILLING WILLIE SHOW OF TV5

We wish to bring to your attention a deplorable incident that occurred during the March 12, 2011 episode of Willing Willie, hosted by Mr. Willie Revillame which was aired during TV5's primetime block. In the said episode, also posted on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YRCxh9q64w, a six-year-old boy named Jan-jan was shown dancing “ala-macho dancer," much to the delight of the host and the studio audience. As seen in the video, however, the boy was clearly distressed and humiliated by the said experience as evidenced by his crying while supposedly “entertaining” Mr. Revillame and his audience.

Children should be at school studying or playing at home. They should not be used as cheap sources of entertainment. The act of making children work is already unfortunate; however, the said act is even more deplorablewhen they lose their dignity and self respect in the process.

If TV shows that employ child actors are required to secure the necessary permits from the DSWD, are reality shows like Willing Willie required to do the same? Are representatives from the DSWD present to monitor these activities, especially for shows that air live?

We quote Article V, Section 9 of Republic Act No.

Clearly, what transpired during this episode of Willing Willie was a violation of this provision of the law.

We condemn the blatant act of subjecting poor Filipinos -- especially minors, a group that history has shown to be one of the most vulnerable sectors of our society -- to humiliation in shows like these in exchange for some quick cash. Given the financial hardships that they have to endure, they often feel forced to do acts that violate their dignity as human beings in exchange for keeping body and soul together.

We condemn the host, not only for failing to stop the boy, who was clearly uncomfortable with what he had to do, but more importantly for milking similar situations for the sake of selling the show and increasing its ratings.

We condemn the producers of the show and the management of TV5 not only for failing to act appropriately on this incident, but also for tolerating these kinds of shows, as well as the host's tasteless and humiliating antics.

We express disappointment towards the parents of the boy for subjecting their child to this horrible experience.

We express concern for the studio audience and others at home who found this incident amusing and entertaining.

We express disappointment towards all the advertisers of the show for failing to consider the content and the values of the shows in which they advertise.

We challenge our government agencies, particularly the DSWD and the MTRCB, to act promptly on this and other similar incidents, and to institute measures to protect young children when they appear on Willing Willie and similar shows.

In this regard, we would like to request the following actions from your office:

  1. For Mr. Manny Pangilinan and the management of TV5 to immediately implement a temporary moratorium on the guesting of children on Willing Willie and similar shows;

  1. For Mr. Willie Revillame and the producers of the show to issue a public apology to Jan-jan and all their other guests whom they have humiliated in the past, and to promise never to commit the same acts in their future episodes;

  1. For the MTRCB to conduct an investigation and  review of the said episode to determine the violations made by the host and the producers of the show of the standards and regulations set by law and the Board, and impose corresponding penalties on those found guilty;

  1. For the DSWD and the CHR to conduct an investigation into the said incident to determine the violations of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act and Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004,  committed by the host, the producers and the management of TV5,  and initiate legal action against those who will be found responsible;

  1. For the DSWD and the MTRCB, in partnership with the TV networks in the country, to formulate regulations that will cover the appearance of children on game shows and other reality-TV themed shows, especially those that are aired live;

  1. For the Committee on Youth, Women and Family Affairs of the Senate to conduct an investigation, in aid of legislation, to institute amendments to Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act and Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 to protect children from similar violations;

  1. For the DSWD to provide counselling to Janjan and to all other children who participated on the show in the past for possible trauma and other physiological distress, as well as to their parents who consider subjecting their children to such experience as acceptable;

  1. For the Integrated Bar of the Philippines to provide legal support to the victims of these abuses who may want to pursue legal action against those who will be found responsible by the relevant government agencies; and

  1. For the Philippine Association of National Advertisers and AdBoard to forward this complaint to all their members, especially those who advertise on Willing Willie, and to request their members to temporarily cease placing ads on the show until the host, the producer and the management have complied with this request and instituted reforms to avoid a repeat of this incident in the future. Otherwise, we will be constrained to start a call to boycott the products of those who will refuse to heed this request.

We are expecting a prompt reply and action on your part. We will be continuously monitoring this issue and will continue to gather support from the general public through a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Para-kay-Jan-jan-Shame-on-you-Willie-Revillame/102087546543288) we have started, as well as the mainstream media.

What now, Manny Villar and Prof. Prospero De Vera?

Professor Prospero De Vera of the University of the Philippines, a self-proclaimed "political analyst" and issues adviser of Nacionalista standard bearer Manny Villar has just shot himself in the mouth. Now I know why Villar stands to lose this elections--he has in his campaign team someone who claims to know the dynamics of Philippine politics yet debased himself by claiming that the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) is slated to support the candidacy of his boss.

De Vera even lied before Ted Failon and Tina Monsod-Palma that he knows something these distinguished journalists do not know. Speaking before the Filipino public, De Vera claims to know the "inner workings" of the INC leadership, even stating that he reportedly saw three surveys conducted by the INC which puts his boss on top of the heap. The professor was extremely confident that his boss has the INC endorsement  "in the bag" already.Pooh.

What De Vera does not know, and being an issues adviser and a "political analyst" HE SHOULD KNOW---the INC leadership hates premature announcements. If De Vera is really worth his salt, he should not have lied and claimed that he knows who the INC will endorse. Obviously, De Vera does not know what he was talking about and was even clueless on INC decision-making. When De Vera agreed to those interviews, he did not know that he was being trapped. :-)

Today, the INC finished De Vera off--they publicly announced support to the rival of his boss, Liberal party standard bearer Noynoy Aquino and his tandem, Mar Roxas. If I'm De Vera, I'll do an Ostrich and bury my head under the sand.

Villar just wasted thousands of pesos paying a supposed "issues adviser" who simply does not know anything about Philippine politics and its dynamics.

(To those who trust De Vera's advices--be forewarned. You could be next to lose your shirt and this election. :0)

Villar should fire both his issues adviser and his media handlers simply for ineffectiveness and utter stupidity.

Now, De Vera and Villar's publicists have all put their boss in a very tight situation. Villar is now in the quandary. He is now on the verge of losing his businesses, what with this impending poll defeat.

Look at Villar's bleak future...

Risa Hontiveros has just filed a graft case against Manny Villar before the Ombusman. This case will definitely be pursued by the new Aquino administration for sure. Villar faces a very bleak and black future once the Liberals win. Maybe, Villar will even be the first one prosecuted for plunder and graft and corruption.

The only thing that will save Villar is simply accept defeat and support Aquino. Maybe he can hammer out a deal. Yet, knowing Aquino and the Liberals, they will surely and simply reject any overtures from the Villar camp.

Because of this elections, Villar earned the ire of big-time enemies and that includes not just the Aquinos but the Estradas and several others.

Villar should now implement his exit strategy, but one advice--don't ask De Vera what to do next. He might simply ask you to release fraudulent and fake documents to save face.

Villar should simply do what the former Thai Prime Minister did--go on exile. Or, maybe accompany Arroyo in her and her husband's cozy chalet in Portugal.

Villar is self-destructing and Joker should blame his boos, err, boss.

Okey, let's reason among ourselves.

One commenter by the name of "Joker" says that Villar is being victimized by black propaganda. Instead of telling Joker that he must be joking, let us really analyze why Villar is sliding and enjoying very negative feedback.

Okey---supporters of Villar say that he is being hit left and right by negative propaganda. Joker even said that people should know the "truth" about Villar. Okey, so what is the truth about him?

On the first barrage of negative news about Villar, his political rivals say he's really not a member of the poorest of the poor in the country, in effect, his rivals say he lied.

Where did all these news about Villar's "proletarian roots" came from? Did it came from the rivals of Villar? No. It came from Villar's own ads and press releases. Villar and his camp were the ones who instigated the debate or discussion about his humble roots.

Villar was the one who claimed he came from the poor. Villar was the one who tried to say that he was once dirt poor when his very personal record speaks otherwise.

It is the responsibility of the public especially the media to know the truth. Is it "black propaganda" when GMA Channel 7 c/o of Howie Severino researched about Villar's "Humble roots"? Is it black propaganda when ABS-CBN c/o of Ces Drilon reported about Villar's real economic status prior to being the country's real estate magnate? No. It was the responsibility of the Philippine media to tell the people that hey this candidate is lying.

Villar is to be blamed for this mess simply because he was the one who instigated the debate about his real beginnings. He should have claimed that he was a member of the middle class who successfully struggled and eventually became rich. Was that wrong? Nope. It was a very glaring error by Villar's strategists to even claim Villar's poor roots when it was clear that he came from a not-so-humble roots.

On the second barrage of negative news about the Nacionalista standard bearer, Villar claims he did nothing wrong with the C-5 scandal, when the very Senate reported otherwise. The Senate probed Villar's hand in the project and those lengthy Senate ethics committee transcripts detailed his involvement.

Villar was unable to disprove it precisely because it involves two of his companies. Because he failed to publicly divest his interests in these companies, surely, his political rivals will hit him with conflicts of interests.

On the third barrage of negative news about Villar, his conduct as a real estate magnate. His companies faked land titles to grab lands reportedly owned by an indigenous group in Norzagaray Bulacan.

There's a new report by Ces Drilon on Villar's involvement in the 30 billion low cost housing scam and there's numerous reports about Villar's seedy hand dipping his fingers on numerous land grabbing incidents. These are not inventions. These are real facts. Is it black propaganda? No, because there were numerous documents proving all these things.

Net---the presidency is slipping away from Villar simply because of the inexperience of his media handlers.

Villar, really, should have won the game easily. Amado Doronilla is correct---Villar has the tendency to self-destruct. Had Villar been handled more effectively, I am quite sure that Villar is far away from his nearest rival, Aquino.

What would have been the case if Villar simply claimed sipag at tyaga as his foremost "agimat" against kahirapan? Would it hurt Villar if he claimed to have been a member of the middle class who rose from his status and became rich?

Villar should have publicly divested all his interests in all his companies before he even started his campaign. That way, he would have prevented his enemies from attacking him.

Net, Joker, blame your boss and if you're one of his media handlers, blame yourself, not people like me who just analyze what is happening in Philippine politics.

Blame Villar for claiming that he's dirt poor when he was not.

Blame Villar for not divesting all his interests in Camella Homes, Vistaland and other real estate companies which he owe?

Blame Villar for messing up the country's low-cost housing program.

Blame Villar for being soo cocky and soo confident that he'll clinch the presidency by using his billions. The Filipino People, Mr. Villar, is not for sale.

YOU ready to join the People: PGMA allies plan palace coup

The Young Organizers Union (YOU), the civilian organization of the Young Officers' Union (YOU), expresses its desire to join the Filipino People in its fight against electoral fraud and warns that it will take a more militant stance if Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo continues her plan to hold on to power.

The expose of Marine Capt. Nicanor Faeldon that this administration plans to sabotage the forthcoming elections is alarming, even the Palace and the AFP admitted it. Faeldon is surely not lying. Indications are rife and there are numerous signs that this administration will definitely not entirely give up power even after the elections.

What is the most probable scenario come May 10?

One, this elections will surely encounter major glitches in its automated elections. Major glitches will result to massive disenfranchisement. Massive disenfranchisement will lead to major discontent. If these pockets of discontent become big especially in urban areas, this will justify dissent. Dissent will not only involve the People--it will galvanize the ranks of anti-Arroyo forces and bring about a strong motive force capable of bringing down this administration.

As I again repeat---the Filipino People will not allow another Hello Garci scandal, especially an automated one. Unlike 2005 when the Filipino People did not do anything to oust the administration, this time around, the People will not stand idly by and watch as this administration sabotage democracy. We agree with what Capt. Faeldon said--the People are fed up with these shenanigans in power. The People will militate and will express itself more violently than before.

The second part of this scenario--should there be massive protests, the obvious plan of this administration is a palace coup d'etat. The transitory committee headed by Executive secretary Leandro Mendoza will declare a state of emergency. Mendoza will transform the government into a transitory government and with the support of AFP chief of Staff General Delfin Bangit and Defense secretary Norberto Gonzales, will justify their act as an "act in defense of democracy".

This transitory government will try to qualm the raging storm thru the imposition of a state of emergency. This government will try to manage the national counting while the entire country is placed under a state of emergency. When a favorable outcome results, they will then prepare the bureaucracy for a turnover of power. A favorable outcome depends on the victory of Palace-backed candidates, which, are either Teodoro or Villar.

If the outcome tends to favor Noynoy Aquino, then, this government will continue its plan of extending the period of the transitory government. The government will govern for six months and while it governs, will call for another presidential elections. The parliamentary poll results will be respected.

When a Speaker shall have been elected into power, then, the Speaker will head the transition government. The most obvious and intended result is Mrs. Arroyo serving as Speaker while her most favored candidate (either Teodoro or Villar) is expected to clinch victory in the presidential polls. If Noynoy's win is tooo huge, they will then call for another elections within a period of six months.

Villar should blame his media handlers if he loses the elections: Better luck next time Manny siguro by 2024

Nacionalista standard bearer Manny Villar is undoubtedly, the most qualified of all presidentiables. He's young. He's intelligent (UP business administration graduate) and really comes from a middle class family. Undeniably, his rise to billionaire status without using his brute strength (like the other Manny) is admirable. His success story is really inspiring.

Now, why is he now slipping--latest Pulse Asia survey shows him at 20% at par with Joseph Estrada, with Aquino at 39%--or about 19 or so percentage points away. Villar was once statistically tied with Aquino. Noynoy has since broken away, far, far away from the billion peso reach of Villar. Why?

First, Aquino did not lie in his campaigns. What he is, that's what the public got. He never lied about his roots, never engaged his enemies to dirty mudslinging and never accused his enemies of being loonies.

Villar did all that. He lied about his roots. What is so wrong with telling people he was once a member of the middle class? That is better than being haciendero. Villar should have at the oneset claimed to have been a member of the middle class, nakuha pa niya ang sympathy votes of the ABC class. Now, because doubts have been raised about his true roots, Villar is now getting the brunt of anger and mistrust from the public.

Villar did not stoop soooo low as to accuse his political enemies of mental diseases or illnesses. In the Philippines, okey lang if you accuse your enemies of graft and corruption but accusing him of being a mental patient? Excuse moi! Okey lang if you accuse somebody who shows like she's a loony, there's basis. Noynoy does not exhibit such. And that, to us voters, is the lowest form of campaigning.

Other than these two, well, his involvement in the bourse scandal is yet another mismanaged thing.

Net---Villar should blame his media handlers for the mess he is in. It's a pity. He spent millions on public relations and billions more on advertising, yet he failed. Oh, by the way, his ads should have been more effective if he chose sana na calibrated response, not yung series upon series of ad placement. Like I wrote over at FV, voters suffered from Villar fatigue and that showed on the surveys.

I don't think Villar will ever recover from this, no. Anyway, there's always a 2016 or even a 2024. By that time, Baby James and his gang of kids in the Villar television ad ay mga voters na. Villar is sure to win by 2024.

Villar broke the highest law like the Arroyos

Manny Villar sees nothing wrong when he presented himself before the PSE board and lobbied for Vistaland. Villar said he broke no law.

The Nacionalista party standard bearer also defended himself by saying that Senators like him are not required to divest their interests in their companies--the law requires that they just have to divulge it.

I am totally disappointed with Villar---he simply does not get it. The issue is not law--its delicadeza.

Villar has committed the very sin, in fact, the original sin of this administration---the Arroyos are fond of telling the people they broke no law while their very act smacks of immorality, nay, gruesome unethical behavior.

Yes, Senators are not supposed to divest, only divulge their interests in their numerous companies. And yes, probably, he broke no law since the PSE, as correctly defended by Vista Land's lawyer Nalen Galang, is a private institution.

Yet, what Villar just did was actually prove the very fears of the people and why most will not vote for him---he has the tendency to use his position to benefit his numerous companies.

This act of Villar sends a very chilling message to big business---what will prevent Villar from appearing once again before the PSE or any business group and ask for concessions? If we elect Villar as president, what will then prevent him from breathing down hard against his rivals in the real estate business? Nothing, you say. That's precisely it.

When his companies bought land with liens or disputes attached to it and allegedly faked those titles, what will then prevent Villar from similarly doing the same things, and in a grandier fashion, as our president? Nothing, you say. Fact is, Villar will even be more fierce.

Even if the law does not bar Villar as a Senator from appearing before any business group, it is incumbent upon Villar, if he's really an honest, sincere and a good man, not to do things which are unethical.

Galang said when Villar appeared before the PSE, he was doing so not as Senate president but as majority stockholder of Vista Land. Crap.

Do you think Vivien Yuchengco or PSE board chairman Lim welcomed Villar as "Citizen Villar" not as "Senate president Villar" when he appeared before them? Surely Galang is not as stupid as many people think she is. That's a very weak alibi, weaker than ARMM governor Zaldy Ampatuan's alibi.

Laws are supposed to reflect our concept of morality but if there is no law that exists that bars someone from acting or doing things, then, the only recourse for someone if the law is silent is simply exercising his own moral conscience.

That appearance before the PSE is a moral judgment, not a legal one.

Hence, it's totally abhorrent for a person with a higher social standing like Villar, indeed, expected of him, to exercise the right moral judgment every single time he's faced with acts which the laws are silent.

Is Villar parroting what Arroyo said when she was asked about her call to the Comelec commissioners? She admitted doing the call but defended herself by saying that there is no law that bars her from doing so. Yes, the laws are silent. But its silence does not mean that you or anyone is entitled to do what many think as immoral or unethical.

When Arroyo defended herself by saying that there is no law that bars her from fraternizing or socializing with ZTE-NBN officials at the height of an ongoing bidding for the contract, does it mean that Arroyo broke no law when she and her husband went to Shenzhen to golf with the ZTE officials? Yes, the Arroyos broke no law except the highest law which the people expected them to follow and that is, the moral law.

Villar is hiding behind the technicalities of the law. What he fails to say is simply, he lacks the moral acuity expected of leaders like him. And that's the danger. If we elect Villar, we are electing an Arroyo clone.

Why Vote for Manny Villar?

A self-made man. An iconoclast in the business world. A great achiever. A visionary. This is how I and many others describe Manny Villar. The only question that I want others to answer is this—Villar is all what people expect him except a revolutionary. And our times call for a revolutionist as our leader.

Villar, in spite of his bravura, is not fit to be president, simply because during his terms as Senate president and Speaker of the House, he was not instrumental in legislating laws that improved our lives.

Many people who are rooting for Nacionalista party standard bearer Manny Villar believe that he fits the job quite perfectly. Villar, they say, did many things. He builds low cost houses. He passed some legislation. He was formerly a speaker and Senate president. He’s ripe for the picking.

This is probably true. There is one question that I wanted everyone to answer—when Villar was speaker, was that a time when we all said “good job”? Was he remarkable as a Senate president too?

No. When Villar was speaker that was the time when he betrayed his closest friend, Joseph Estrada. Was there any landmark legislation during Villar’s time? None. We do not remember anything extraordinary when Villar was speaker of the Lower House.

How about when he was Senate president? None. Do we remember anything so significant and so earth-shaking in fact about his term? None. Not one single thing.  Fact is it was during his time that these graft charges filed against the Arroyos went to naught.

And remember that C-5 controversy? He was there when the road was diverted.

We all saw what happened in our country when Villar was speaker and when he was Senate president. There was no landmark legislation, nothing that changed our lives. Villar, as they say, was never even there.

Villar was out there, campaigning, solidifying his mass bases and preparing for the presidential campaign. He did not use his position as Speaker to implement laws that would have improved the lives of the poor. When he was Senate president, there were no changes made even in the way the Senate operates. Villar was just there for the position.

So, do we expect him to achieve anything better or anything revolutionary if elected as president? I doubt it. The Filipino People gave him all the chances to make the grade, but he failed—twice. How then will we be assured that he will do good as our president?
How then will Villar be able to effect substantial changes in the lives of the poor, when while he was boss of the Lower House and eventually, president of the Senate, Villar did nothing or did not even lift a finger or even found it upon himself to make laws that will improve the lives of the poor. Review the laws he was able to pass, and there was no single piece of legislation on improving the economic condition of the poorest Filipinos.

How then will Villar even say that he will end poverty when God and the electorate already gave him ample time to make his mark as an anti-poor crusader yet he failed? Are we so generous that we will give this man a second or third chance to again fail and fail miserably? As one of my friends said, if you want change, don’t do the same thing over and over again. Because if you do, you’ll get the same dismal result.

If you asked me, the only possible result is simply under a Manny Villar administration, things will be totally different. We will probably see one Villar corporation using a fake title as bank collateral. Villar did it when he was a member of the Lower house when his bank, Capitol Development Bank, used an alleged fake title to secure a 1.6 billion loan from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

Villar would probably defend himself by saying that he already divested all his business interests in favor of his children. That’s crap. Everyone knows in Vistaland that Manny Villar still calls the shots there. That is the same case in Camella Homes and other businesses of the Villars.

How then will Villar be able to recover the billions of pesos he spent during the campaign? Don’t tell me that we all were taken a joy ride by the Villars. Three billion pesos is nothing to sneeze at. Don’t even cajole me and say that Camille Villar will be able to recoup 3 billion pesos after the elections, without even dipping her fingers in any government-related project?

Let me end this by taking a jibe off the latest informecial of Villar and Loren. These candidates are asking us to vote for those with skills and experience already in governance.

How can we even do what they’re asking when those with skills and experience like them did not even do good when we gave them the chance to lead us? Loren has been in public service for decades already; same case with Villar. Can you possibly and truthfully say straight to my face that your life improved because of them?

Andal Ampatuan Jr. endorses Villar as President and Gilbert Remulla as Senator

Gilbert Remulla has one sure vote for him---Unday mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr, the alleged mastermind behind the gruesome Maguindanao massacre. And not only him, even Remulla's standard bearer Manny Villar is being endorsed by Ampatuan.

So, Villar has one vote, and that will come from the Ampatuans.

By the way, Andal has been transferred from his NBI cell to Camp Bagong Diwa. When he was interviewed by TV patrol, he was in a jolly mood. He signed his release papers and voluntarily went with his NBI handlers.

And Andal called the reporter and he showed her those arm bands which he got from Villar and Remulla. He's very proud. And Ampatuan jr. says, he will campaign hard for Villar.

The question really is--is there an agreement already between Villar and the Ampatuans? And is that agreement like what Mrs. Arroyo did in 2004?
